The video I animated for the Black Eyed Snakes’ “Rise Up!” is still sneakin’ around. It’ll be screened at the Sound Unseen festival in Minneapolis, September 28 – October 4th.

It’ll also show up at IFP’s Cinema Lounge

This, in addition to it being on MNTV, another IFP project that airs on Twin Cities Public Television, and it’ll be at the Walker Art Center next spring, shown in the lobby on the Best Buy video kiosks.

Here’s one from the October/ November issue of Lake Superior Magazine. It’s about a fisherman stuck in a storm on Lake Superior in the ’50s. It’s fun reading it, knowing that I don’t have the job of fisherman on Lake Superior in the ’50s.

This year, I was asked to help with the campaign materials for our local United Way. I produced a poster, a brochure and a video that they’ll take around to companies when they make their pitch for donations. The national campaign has a strong image with the white T-shirts, and we built on that idea, placing local people, including the mayor, newscasters, people working in local United Way programs, bankers, kids and many more, into local scenes.

Grand Marais Minnesota is a beautiful place. And they had a beautiful billboard advertising it. But somebody stole the billboard extension – a seagull – twice. Now they want it back.
Just give ‘em the bird.
I shot and edited the videos on the site for Swim Creative and the Grand Marais Area Tourism Association. Lots of fun.

I’ve done some work for CASDA, the Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse, including their logo many years ago. Here’s a TV ad for this year’s Run/Walk that uses some music I recorded many, many more years ago. On my Fostex 4-track that just recently died on me.

Yep, we have a place in Duluth called Beaners. And it’s been here 10 years now. Jason asked me to do a poster for them. Looks like it’ll be a swingin’ good time.
