Demo Reel

Here is a collage of clips from TV commercials, short films, web animations and corporate videos. On these samples, I’ve written scripts and storyboards, developed characters, and made existing designs and identies come to life with motion. I’ve also produced, directed and edited both visual and audio elements of most these samples.

United Way

I directed, edited and animated this video for the local United Way chapter for their fundraising efforts.

Black-Eyed Snakes Homegrown Music Video

My Homegrown Video Festival entry got picked up by Channel Frederator for their podcast and blog. Frederator is a weekly podcast that features animation from around the world. The Homegrown Video Festival was part of Duluth’s Homegrown Festival, a weeklong music, arts, kickball and bar-hopping party in Duluth-Superior. Sort of a SXSW for the North-Central Region. For the Video Fest, participants drew a band and song out of a hat and had the weekend to make a video for it.

UPDATE: The video will be played on Twin Cities Public Television as part of their MNTV collaboration with IFP in Minneapolis. It will also be at the Walker Art Center next spring in the video displays in the lobby. And it’ll appear in August here in Duluth as part of WDSE’s Smart Films series.

Here’s a campy little ad I did for the Free Range Film Festival Concession Stand. The FRFF is held in the hayloft of a big old barn on an organic farm in Wrenshall, MN

Hey kids, don’t burn trash in your backyard burn barrel. Don’t let mom or dad do it either.

The version I looked at was missing the silly intro and silly ending. Instead, it had an AWESOME intro and a MIND-BLOWING ending.

You might want to get that fixed if you were aiming for “silly.”
